Ningli Wang

Professor Wang Ningli is a member of Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, the director of Beijing Tongren Eye Center, the President of WGA, and an Academician of the International Academy of Ophthalmology. He served as the former Chairman of the Ophthalmology Branch of Chinese Medical Association and APAO.

He has been selected as one of the world's top 100 most influential ophthalmologists 5 times and recognized in the Elsevier "Highly Cited Scholars in China" list for 10 years. He is ranked fourth in academic influence in the field of ophthalmology in the Asia-Pacific Region.

He has been devoted to the research of diagnosis and treatment for glaucoma and national major eye disease prevention and control.

He has published 312 SCI papers as the first or corresponding author, 411 Chinese papers, with 11,711 citations and an H-index of 61. He has published 31 papers in Nature, JAMA, and Lancet.
