Nur’Ain Shuhaila

Nur'Ain Shuhaila Bt Shohaimi is a pharmacist who graduated from the University Sains Malaysia in 1996. Currently, she serves as the Deputy Director of the Pharmacy Policy & Strategic Planning Division at the Ministry of Health Malaysia. In this role, she oversees the implementation of the Malaysian National Medicines Policy (DUNas) and acts as the secretariat for the Malaysian Pharmacy Programme Strategic Plan. She plays a significant role in developing and reviewing new pharmaceutical policies, including works towards ensuring access to Hepatitis C medicines in Malaysia. One of her recent contributions includes facilitating the pool-procurement process between public and private healthcare facilities in Malaysia, aiming to enhance healthcare accessibility and efficiency.
