Biography

Pem Chuki is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and a Clinical Pharmacologist at the National Hospital in Bhutan. She was a gold medal recipient during her medical school and after her postgraduate in Clinical Pharmacology, she pioneered the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program in the country. She was also a member of the first cohort of the Fleming Fund Fellowship and was focused on antimicrobial use surveillance. She is a member of the EML antimicrobial working group and is currently working as a Research Associate at the Curtin Health Innovation and Research Institute (CHIRI) on precision medicine in liver cancer in Perth, Australia.
