Dr Polydor Ngoy Mutombo

Dr Ngoy Mutombo is a public health epidemiologist with over 20 years of experience in advisory, research, and project management across Africa, the South Pacific, and South-East Asia. Dr Mutombo is an adjunct fellow at the National Centre for Naturopathic Medicine, Southern Cross University, Australia. His research interests include neglected tropical diseases, emerging infectious diseases, and global health security. He has worked with Africa CDC, the World Bank, and WHO, focusing on health emergency preparedness and response, SimEx, operational reviews, and coordination mechanisms. His expertise includes strengthening public health operational centres, rapid response team training, and contributing to outbreak investigations and disease containment through collaborative One Health approaches.
