Biography

Porjai Pattanittum (BSc MSc PhD) is an Associate Professor in Biostatistics at Epidemiology and Biostatistics Department, Public Health Faculty, Khon Kaen University (KKU), Thailand. A/Prof Pattanittum served as an Associate Editor for BioMed Central journal (BMC) Systematic reviews (2014-2018) and has delivered workshops on methodological and statistical methods inside and outside KKU, in Thailand; including Vietnam (2016), Myanmar (2018), Sri Lanka (2019), and Indonesia (2019). She was a statistician in the SEA-ORCHID (2004-8; involved since 2006) and SEA-URCHIN (2011-15) projects; a five-year collaborative project between four countries in South East Asia (Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines and Indonesia). She currently serves on the Editorial Board for Disease Control Journal (Thai Journal Citation Index (TCI) Tier 1); Official Publication of the Department of Disease Control, Ministry of Public Health, Thailand.
