Prof Yanlin Zhao

Zhao Yanlin is professor of Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention. Prof. Zhao works in National Tuberculosis Control and Prevention Center of China CDC, and serves as incumbent director since 2019. Prof Zhao is responsible for the technical management of the National TB Control and Prevention Network in China.

He is the president of scientific research committee of the Chinese Anti-TB Association, and he served as the chairperson of the TB research branch of the Chinese Medical Association between 2006-2018. He is standing Member of Infectious Disease Committee of Chinese Preventive Medicine Association. His research areas focus on: TB molecular epidemiology, drug resistance surveillance, and new diagnostics. He has published more than 150 publications in international peer-reviewed journal, NEJM, LANCET etc.

Prof Zhao has worked in TB control and prevention for more than 20 years and is committed to contributing to global efforts to end TB.
