Professor Claudia Osorio de Castro

Claudia G. S. Osorio-de-Castro is a pharmacist with a Master´s in Pharmaceutical Sciences, a Doctorate in Collective Health, and a Research Fellowship with the Division of Clinical Pharmacology, Karolinska Institutet, Huddinge, Sweden (2012-2017). She has been a Consultant to the Brazilian Ministry of Health and to Digemid/MInsa/Peru, is an Associate Editor at journals on Collective Health and Pharmacy, a Council Member for the Brazilian Cancer Institute, the Brazilian Interdisciplinary AIDS Association, and Member of the National Justice Council Health Committee in Rio de Janeiro. Presently she is Senior Researcher and Full Professor at the Sergio Arouca National School of Public Health, Oswaldo Cruz Foundation in Rio de Janeiro. A National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) Researcher and Research Group Leader, with over 150 peer-reviewed publications. Research areas of interest are Medicines Policies, Drug Utilization Research, Pharmaceutical Services, Disasters and Health Emergencies, Bioethics.
