Biography

Fiona Russell is a Senior Professorial Fellow with the Department of Pediatrics, The University of Melbourne and Director of the Child and Adolescent Health PhD Program at the University of Melbourne. She is a member of the Centre for International Child Health, WHO Collaborating Centre for Child and Neonatal Health Research and Training and Group Leader for Asia-Pacific Health, Murdoch Children's Research Institute. She chairs the Australasian Society of Infectious Diseases Vaccination Special Interest Group. She has evaluated dose sparing for infant pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (PCV) schedules. The findings have contributed to immunization policy development.
