Professor Tim Driscoll
Biography
Tim Driscoll is a Professor of Epidemiology and Occupational Medicine at Sydney School of Public Health, University of Sydney, in Sydney, Australia. Professor Driscoll’s areas of expertise include occupational epidemiology and carcinogens; with the burden of occupational disease and injury, occupational cancer and exposure to occupational carcinogens, occupational lung disease, and improving the communication of epidemiological principles and findings to the general public among Professor Driscoll’s main areas of interest. Professor Driscoll has Bachelor’s degrees in Cardiovascular physiology and Medicine, a Master’s degree in Occupational health and safety, and a PhD in Occupational epidemiology. Professor Driscoll is an occupational epidemiologist and a specialist in occupational and environmental medicine and public health medicine. Professor Driscoll leads the occupational risk factors expert working group in the Global Burden of Disease study.
