Dr Ricardo Ghelman

Dr Ricardo Ghelman is a distinguished pediatrician, pediatric oncologist, and Professor at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro Medical School, specializing in Primary Health Care. He is the Founding Chair of the Brazilian Academic Consortium for Integrative Health (CABSIN) and has been an active member of the TCIM Americas Network since 2019. His academic achievements include a postdoctoral fellowship in Neurosciences from the Federal University of São Paulo and membership in the Research Council in Anthroposophic Medicine, Switzerland. Internationally, he is Co-Chair of the Global Committee of the Society for Integrative Oncology, SIO Ambassador for Brazil, and sits on the Executive Board of the European Society of Integrative Medicine. Recognized as a pioneer of Integrative Pediatrics in Brazil, he is Vice-President of the Department of Integrative Pediatrics at the São Paulo Society of Pediatrics, and leads collaborative projects mapping clinical effectiveness of TCIM at CABSIN with BIREME/PAHO.
