Dr Roshanak Ghods
Biography
Dr Roshanak Ghods is an Associate Professor in the Department of Persian Medicine at Iran University of Medical Sciences (IUMS), with an MD from Rafsanjan University and a Ph.D. in Persian Medicine from IUMS. She has provided scientific and managerial leadership, serving as Dean and Founder of the School of Traditional Medicine at IUMS and President of the Research Institute for Islamic and Complementary Medicine. Her credentials include an MBA and extensive acupuncture training. Her research focuses on Persian Medicine, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, wet cupping, leech therapy, and developing diagnostic equipment. She authored a leading clinical guideline for hypertension, awarded at the Persian Medicine Festival, and is an Associate Member of the International Society of Hypertension. Internationally, she contributed to global research priorities and technical briefs on traditional medicine and artificial intelligence.
