Dr Sabrina Schlesinger
Biography
Sabrina Schlesinger is a nutritional scientist and epidemiologist with extensive expertise in evidence synthesis and epidemiological methods on diet, nutrition, and chronic diseases. She leads the Research Group Epidemiology at the Institute for Biometrics and Epidemiology, German Diabetes Center. Dr. Schlesinger has authored more than 80 systematic reviews assessing the risks and benefits of dietary exposures for health outcomes, with a particular focus on dose-response relationships. Her methodological expertise includes the formulation of review questions, protocol development, comprehensive literature searches and screening, risk of bias assessment, linear and non-linear dose-response meta-analyses, and the evaluation of evidence certainty using the GRADE approach.
