Dr Satoshi Kamido is a distinguished physician and health policy expert currently serving as an Executive Advisor and Specially Appointed Associate Professor at the University of Osaka Hospital. His career spans clinical medicine, government, and regulatory science, offering a comprehensive perspective on healthcare challenges and innovation.

As a board-certified urologist with 15 years of experience, Dr Kamido has a strong clinical foundation in advanced surgical practice. He translated this frontline expertise into national impact as a Deputy Director at Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, leading key public health reforms, and as a pivotal reviewer for new drugs and medical devices, including SaMD, at the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency.
