Sayaka Horiuchi

Sayaka Horiuchi is Japanese paediatrician and epidemiologist. She is currently affiliated with University of Yamanashi, Japan. She has more than 10 years of experience in the field of the maternal, neonatal and child health in resource limited setting mainly in Laos and other east and southeast Asian countries as a public health worker and researcher. Her research interest is quality improvement of neonatal and child care at health facilities in resource limited setting. Her recent research evaluated the regular supervisory approach to maintain competency and motivation of health care workers in the sub-national level in Laos.
