Ms Sbongile Nkosi

Sbongile Nkosi is a global health strategist with extensive experience in strategy development, organizational leadership, partnerships, and community-led approaches to health. At the Global Network of People Living with HIV (GNP+), her work focuses on shaping strategy and translating organizational priorities into action, with a particular focus on strengthening the influence of people living with and affected by HIV in global health policy and decision-making.

Her work sits at the intersection of global health, development, strategy, and systems change. She brings experience in strategic planning, organizational and programme strategy, stakeholder engagement, and building partnerships across complex multi-stakeholder environments, including civil society, communities, governments, donors, technical partners, and multilateral institutions.

Sbongile holds a Master’s degree in Globalization, Business and Development from the Institute of Development Studies (IDS). She has also completed a certificate in Systems Change and Social Impact at the Bertha Centre for Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Her work is informed by a strong interest in how strategy, power, institutions, and partnerships can be leveraged to create more equitable and sustainable change in global health.
