Shaheen Akter

Prof. Shaheen Akter's professional background is spanning over two decades as a Pediatric Specialist. She is affiliated with Enam Medical College, Dhaka. She has consistent commitment to the treatment, preventive care, and overall well-being of children in my country. With a dedicated experience in vaccine safety and pharmacovigilance for more than 13 years, Shaheen Akter is serving as the Member Secretary of the National AEFI Expert Review Committee, Bangladesh. Additionally, she has  significantly contributed as a member of the Covid Vaccine Pharmacovigilance Committee. Moreover, she has facilitated various workshops on AEFI causality assessment both domestically and internationally. Since August 2022 she is attached with GACVS as a Member.
