Biography

She is a seasoned public health professional with over 15+ years of experience, with a strong focus on managing global programs and conducting evidence-based research for communities across Africa and Asia. Her expertise spans various aspects of health, including social development, healthcare costing, financing, affordability, and health systems management. She has also played a role in strengthening immunization programs and fostering gender-sensitive, equity-driven approaches. Her involvement in the MOMENTUM projects by USAID and the introduction of COVID-19 vaccines in low- and middle-income countries demonstrates her commitment to improving routine immunization and reaching zero-dose children. She has worked on immunization policy development at the global and national levels, engaging with organizations like GAVI, the Vaccine Alliance, COVAX, and the IA2030 Partnership Council. Her academic background in pharmacology, microbiology, health economics and a Ph.D. in public health fuels her passion for bridging the gap between health policy and real-world implementation, especially in challenging settings.
