Dr Shimaa Nasr
Biography
Shimaa Nasr Eldeen Hassan Mustafa is the Manager of the Rational Drug Use Unit at the Egyptian Drug Authority.
She is a member of the rational antimicrobial use national team for antimicrobial use, calculating and analyzing the rate of antimicrobial consumption at the national level and submitting it to GLASS, and acts as the focal point for Animuse. She is a rapporteur of the national rational antimicrobial use committee, dedicated to developing national guidance for rational antimicrobial use. She is a member of the national HIV committee at the Ministry of Health, participating in reviewing and updating national guidance for HIV.
She is an instructor and lecturer for the infectious diseases diploma program at General Organization of Teaching Hospitals and Institutes (GOTHI). She is an associate alumni of Harvard Medical School, and has previously held various clinical pharmacy and teaching roles at Cairo University Pediatric Specialized Hospital, Giza pharmacists syndicate, GOTHI, Ahmed Maher Teaching Hospital and other hospitals.
She holds a Bachelor degree of pharmacy (Cairo University 2006), Egyptian Fellowship of Clinical Pharmacy (2016), TQM Diploma (Ain Shams University 2018), Pharm D (2019), Harvard E-CSRT clinical research training (Harvard Medical School 2021) and Egyptian Fellowship of Healthcare Management 2023.
