Mr Sione Tu'itahiis

Mr Sione Tu'itahiis an educator, writer, and public health leader whose work spans planetary health, health determinants, human rights, and Indigenous knowledge. He is Executive Director of the Health Promotion Forum of New Zealand, Immediate Past President of the International Union for Health Promotion and Education (IUHPE) and a member of advisory groups to several national and international organisations in education and health.In recognition of his 30 years of significant contributions to health and education at the national and international levels, Sione was awarded the 2019 New Zealand Public Health Champion.
