Sofía P. Salas

Sofía P. Salas is a Professor at the Center of Bioethics, Faculty of Medicine, Clínica Alemana - Universidad del Desarrollo in Santiago, Chile. Since 1994 she has participated as a member of the local IRB at the Faculty of Medicine Universidad Católica, Universidad Diego Portales and Universidad del Desarrollo. She contributed to the critical appraisal of Chilean law for regulating research with people who could not give informed consent. At present she is Director of the PAHO Collaborating Center for Bioethics at Universidad del Desarrollo.
