Ms Stephanie Newell is a founding and continuing member of the WHO Patients for Patient Safety program established in 2005 and convenor of the Australian Patient Safety Network. Stephanie is a past member of the External Review Committee for the WHO Use of Chest Imaging in COVID19 Rapid Advice Guide. Stephanie is a Patient and Family representative of the WHO Academy Patient and Community Engagement Working Group and a Healthcare Consumer Representative member of the Australian Government's Therapeutic Goods Administration Advisory Committee on Complementary Medicines and the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care Infection Prevention and Control Advisory Committee.
