Stephen Colagiuri

Dr Stephen Colagiuri is Professor of Metabolic Health, Co-Director of the Boden Collaboration and Solutions Domain Leader at the Charles Perkins Centre at the University of Sydney, Australia.

He is also Co-Director, WHO Collaborating Centre on Physical Activity, Nutrition and Obesity.

He is a clinical academic and is a medical graduate specialising in diabetes and endocrinology. His research and clinical focus are on diabetes and obesity prevention, evidence-based diabetes care and economic aspects of diabetes and obesity.

He has served on a number of WHO technical advisory groups and has been on the Board of the International Diabetes Federation since 2017 as Vice President (Physician). 

In 2017 he was made an Officer of the Order of Australia for national and international services to diabetes.
