Susan cares for her mother, Esme Harris, who has a chronic, non-reversible lung condition and requires oxygen support. Her mom has a history of very frequent lung infections, and some of these infections are resistant to multiple antibiotics.

Now her mom is on long-term Azithromycin, a second line antibiotic, to prevent another round of infection and she is concerned about antibiotic options running out.
