Dr Tanu Soni

Dr Tanu Soni is a global public health professional with over a decade of experience in public health, health emergency preparedness, capacity strengthening, and monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL). She currently serves as a capacity strengthening officer at the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA), working within the UK Public Health Rapid Support Team (UK-PHRST). Her work focuses on the design, delivery and evaluation of capacity strengthening initiatives, simulation exercises and action reviews to strengthen outbreak preparedness and response. She has collaborated with WHO, Africa CDC, and ministries of health across multiple regions, contributing to simulation-based learning, operational readiness and systems strengthening in diverse contexts.
