Dr Sridhar Venkatapuram is an interdisciplinary academic-practitioner in public health and global health ethics and justice. He currently serves as an Associate Professor at King’s College London. Dr Venkatapuram extensive interdisciplinary training includes international relations from Brown University, history from SOAS, public health from Harvard, and sociology and political philosophy from Cambridge. Since the early 1990s Dr Venkatapuram has worked with WHO (HQ), NHS, Wellcome Trust, Health Foundation, BMA, BMJ, Human Rights Watch, UNU-IIGH, and other organizations. He lectures widely and publishes research on public health and global health ethics; global and health justice philosophy; capabilities approach; social determinants of health; and health equity.
