Dr Veronica Yu

Dr Veronica Yu is a public health veterinarian with over a decade of experience in advancing pandemic prevention, preparedness and responses, strengthening of health systems and supporting capacity-building and international development projects. She is deeply committed to the One Health approach, with expertise in addressing new and emerging infectious diseases at the human-animal-environment interface. Her work encompasses strategic policy development, multisectoral coordination and management of public health surveillance in diverse settings. Dr Yu has a proven track record of collaborating with the WHO and other UN agencies, the World Bank Group and national government counterparts to promote global health security.
