Dr Vivian Welch

Dr Vivian Welch holds an Applied Public Health Chair from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research and Public Health Agency of Canada focused on healthy ageing for all (2024-2029).  She is Editor in Chief of the Campbell Collaboration, senior investigator at the Bruyère Health Research Institute, and associate professor at University of Ottawa School of Epidemiology and Public Health.  She leads a team interested in co-producing evidence to inform decision-making, drawing on equity-focused guideline development, evidence synthesis, evidence maps and community-based evaluation approaches, in partnership with interest holders including patients, public, practitioners and policy-makers.
