Prof Xiaoyun Liu

Professor Xiaoyun Liu has been engaged in teaching and research in health policy and systems for more than 20 years. His research focuses predominantly on China, but also spans other Asian countries including Vietnam, Cambodia, India, and Thailand. 

In 2021, Xiaoyun presented on China’s experience in health system reform at the Fifth Meeting of the UHC TAG and in 2022, he delivered a plenary presentation on integrating data for informed decisions and progress monitoring at the Sixth Meeting of the UHC TAG. Xiaoyun is currently also serving as a member of the WHO TAG for Universal Health and Preparedness Review (UHPR) from 2021-2023.​
