Dr Yinzhong Shen
Biography
Yinzhong Shen is chief physician, doctoral supervisor, associate professor of Shanghai Public Health Clinical Center, Fudan University, and member of Standing Committee for tropical and parasitic diseases branch, Chinese Medical Association, Infectious Disease Branch of Shanghai Medical Association, and WHO COVID-19 Guidelines Development Group. Dr Shen is a Member and deputy secretary General of the 2nd Academic Committee of China Association for Prevention and Treatment of STD and AIDS , Vice Chairman of the HIV and Tuberculosis Committee of the Chinese Association for Prevention and Treatment of STD and AIDS. Dr Shen was invited by WHO Western Pacific Regional Office to share China’s experience of COVID-19 clinical management with countries in the Pacific Islands. Dr Shen’s work mainly involves clinical management and research in the field of infectious diseases. As the sub-principal investigator, Dr Shen has undertaken one National Key Project of '13th five-year' Infectious Diseases Program. As the principal investigator, Dr Shen has undertaken three projects of Shanghai Science and Technology Commission. In 2017, Dr Shen was a recipient of the Shanghai Medical Science and Technology Award. Dr Shen has 23 first-authored papers on science citation index journlas and 6 published monographs (one as chief editor, five as deputy chief editor).
