Mr Zibusiso (Zee) Ndlovu

Biography

Zee Ndlovu is a Medical Laboratory Scientist who also holds an MSc in Epidemiology and Biostatistics among other qualifications in project management and M&E. He joined Medecins Sans Frontières (MSF) Southern African Medical Unit (SAMU) in 2016 as the Epidemiologist and Laboratory Advisor, where he provides strategic and technical guidance for strengthening the implementation and access to quality-assured diagnostics for multiple MSF disease programs in Sub-Saharan Africa and Asia. His main interests are in diagnostics and operational research for HIV, TB & associated opportunistic infections; including STIs, COVID-19 and other diseases. Zee is a member of the Global Advanced HIV disease (AHD) steering committee, has served as a member of the WHO QuEST Technical Working Group, WHO HIV EID & VL consortiums, and as an external reviewer of the WHO EDL among others. Prior to his work with MSF SAMU, Ndlovu worked as a medical laboratory scientist in public and private diagnostic laboratories (South Africa, Botswana and Zimbabwe).
