FEEDcities project: the food environment in cities in eastern Europe and central Asia – Armenia

Overview
This technical report presents results from the FEEDcities project in eastern Europe and central Asia. The crosssectional survey was conducted in Yerevan, Armenia, between September 2024 and January 2025 and aimed to evaluate the local urban food environment. The nutritional composition of selected industrial and homemade foods available in fast-food outlets, kiosks, bakeries and supermarkets is presented, and the policy implications of the results are discussed.
