On 8th May, WHO Cambodia staff gathered to sign the WHO Values Charter, the first-of-its-kind initiative seeking to define WHO's values and translate them into the Organization’s DNAs.

In November 2018, more than 2700 WHO staff from across the globe had a chance to exchange views on what the values should be. This resulted in the WHO Values Charter with the following commitments which will help guide our mission to promote health, keep the world safe and serve the vulnerable:

  • Trusted to serve public health at all times
  • Professionals committed to excellence in health
  • Persons of integrity
  • Collaborative colleagues and partners
  • People caring about people

The signing event in Phnom Penh has been shared with all WHO colleagues on streaming Workplace. All WHO staff in Cambodia are strongly committed to work together to live the Values every day.
