Definition:
Existence of regulations that restrict access to sunbeds.
This includes:
- whether or not sunbeds are banned
- whether or not there are access restrictions for sensitive skin type (e.g. Fitzpatrick skin type 1)
- whether or not there is a ban on unsupervised operations
- whether or not there is a ban on hire/sale of sunbeds
Method of estimation:
Data are drawn from a WHO survey of national authorities (governments, health protection agencies, regulatory authorities). Data are as reported, no estimation is required.
