WHA Resolution 57.1 on surveillance and control of Buruli ulcer
Definition:
Status of endemicity of Buruli ulcer in the countries that have reported a case of Buruli ulcer at least once. A case of Buruli ulcer is defined as a person living in or having travelled to an endemic area and presenting with a painless lesion (nodule, plaque, oedema or ulcer) consistent with signs of the disease (with or without bacteriological confirmation).
