Rationale:
This indicator calculates the current health expenditure funded from government domestic sources spent per person in USD currency. Government domestic sources include government internal transfers and grants, government transfers and subsidies to voluntary schemes, as well as social health insurance contributions. It contributes to understand the general government current health expenditure relative to the population size facilitating international comparison.
