WHO Country Cooperation Strategy, Estonia 2024–2030

Overview
This Country Cooperation Strategy (CCS) sets a vision and a guide for the collaboration between WHO and Estonia, in line with Estonia’s National Health Plan 2020–2030 (NHP) and in mutually agreed priority areas to further strengthen the health system, improve population health and to reduce health inequalities in Estonia. Led by the Ministry of Social Affairs and WHO Country Office in Estonia, the CCS was developed through a series of consultations, based on Estonia’s current and future health needs, and in consideration of WHO’s core functions, including its comparative and strategic advantage. This document briefly outlines the health system and health equity situation in Estonia, national health priorities, and the strategic agenda and collaboration between Estonia and WHO, including the monitoring framework for the implementation of the CCS.
