In the context of the strengthening of the global architecture for health emergency preparedness, response and resilience, and following the mandate provided by RC72 and updated at RC73, the Regional Committee will be invited to consider a strategy and action plan on health emergency preparedness, response and resilience in the WHO European Region 2024–2029 (Preparedness 2.0), which aims to support countries to develop fit-for-purpose national health emergency preparedness and response plans.

The Regional Committee will be invited to adopt a related draft decision.
