Tuberculosis (TB) is a major global health threat and the WHO European Region has the highest incidence of drug-resistant TB in the world.
To boost ongoing action to tackle these challenges, WHO/Europe is expanding its workforce (EURO/TB consultants roster) dedicated to prevention and screening. Applications are welcome from consultants with expertise in TB prevention and screening, ranging from junior specialist to senior expert and/or experience of providing support in the context of the WHO European Region.
The successful applicant will be skilled in TB preventive treatment and systematic screening for active TB disease. Expertise in TB infection and active disease diagnosis, community engagement, and epidemiological surveillance and response monitoring will be an asset.
