The WHO European Centre for Environment and Health, under the auspices of the Environment and Health Process, is holding the fifth high-level Bonn Dialogue on Environment and Health. The Netherlands is a leading country for the event.
This Bonn Dialogue aims to facilitate the exchange of views and best practices on policies to address exposure to hazardous chemicals, from both environmental and health perspectives. The event will promote discussions on measures to prevent or limit emissions and releases of hazardous chemicals and policy measures to reduce the impact of such chemicals already present in the environment.
The Dialogue will be followed by an in-depth session on Safe and Sustainable by Design, an innovative approach to chemical safety in the European Union.
This event is open to members of the Environment and Health Task Force; National Focal Points for Chemicals and Health; anyone working on environment and/or health in national, regional and local governments; and other relevant stakeholders. The Dialogue will be held in English with simultaneous translation into Russian.
