Out of every 3 people in the Region, 1 is under the age of 30. Since 2021 WHO/Europe has increased efforts to engage youth as equal partners in health and well-being decision-making.
A key outcome of the first Youth4Health Forum, held in 2022 in Tirana, Albania, was the establishment of the Youth4Health Network. The Network provides a platform for meaningful engagement with young people, seeks to amplify and embed youth voices and perspectives, and ensures youth participation in all areas of WHO/Europe’s work.
At this side event on 25 September 2023 – the official launch of the Youth4Health Network – youth representatives will present the Network’s work and discuss the importance of youth engagement with decision-makers.
Youth4Health members are also invited to organize local satellite events across the Region to celebrate the network launch together.
