The forum, titled "Unlocking insights, building capacities, and forging ahead," aims to play a significant role in the evolution of risk communication, community engagement and infodemic management (RCCE-IM), which has become a core public health intervention.
A significant highlight of the forum will be the introduction of 2 innovative tools designed to enhance the capabilities of professionals in the RCCE-IM field. The RCCE-IM Capability Mapping Tool will provide a comprehensive framework for professionals to self-assess and map their skills, knowledge, and attitudes. This tool offers a versatile approach to evaluation and can be applied at various levels.
The second tool, the RCCE-IM Plan Creator, is an online platform that empowers users to create strategic and tactical plans for managing health emergencies. This tool's adaptability ensures that everyone involved in RCCE-IM can develop effective, targeted plans.
Adding to the significance of the forum, WHO/Europe will open an RCCE-IM community of practice. This platform will promote peer learning and support among European countries, fostering a more unified and resilient approach to managing health emergencies.
