Subregional Workshop for Health Workforce Data Quality: Strengthening NHWA Reporting in South-eastern Europe

On 29–30 August 2024, a subregional workshop will take place in Bucharest, Romania, aimed at strengthening the reporting of National Health Workforce Accounts (NHWA 2.0) and reviewing health workforce data quality for the upcoming State of the World’s Nursing Report (SoWN) 2025.

This event, organized by the South-Eastern Europe Health Network (SEEHN) Regional Health Development Centre for Nursing and Midwifery in collaboration with WHO and the Order of Nurses and Midwives of Romania, will bring together key stakeholders from south-eastern Europe to accelerate NHWA implementation, enhance data quality and improve reporting levels for the SoWN 2025 report.

The workshop will be attended by representatives from SEEHN member states, including NHWA focal points, government chief nurses and other key figures responsible for health workforce planning. The event will serve as a crucial platform for dialogue and collaboration, reinforcing the capacity for data management and application across the subregion.
