In Azerbaijan, people formed a solidarity chain in the shape of an umbrella – a common symbol of universal health coverage. But first, participants performed the traditional Yalli dance, symbolizing unity and the collective spirit.

In Czechia, 200 students from 8 medical faculties organized booths in 6 cities under the auspices of the International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations. At the booths they offered screenings of blood sugar and blood pressure as well as information on nutrition, exercise and self-examination for cancer. In the Republic of Moldova, achievements of health professionals were recognized at the sixth edition of the country’s annual health gala.
