Overview
The Fifteenth Meeting of the European Technical Advisory Group on Tuberculosis Control (TAG-TB) was held on 18–20 May 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Meeting was held virtually, allowing all participants to participate remotely. The objectives of the Meeting were to: 1) review and discuss the progress made in implementing the recommendations of the 14th Meeting of the Technical Advisory Group on Tuberculosis (TAG-TB); 2) discuss prioritized actions and interventions, which the WHO Regional Office for Europe will embark upon and/or accelerate its support to Member States for in response to tuberculosis (TB), drug-resistant TB (DR-TB) and TB/HIV coinfection during the COVID-19 pandemic; 3) review and advise on plans for the development of a Roadmap on tuberculosis for the WHO European Region for 2023–2030 to reach the targets set out in the End TB Strategy.
