Assessment of national school health services with the purpose of their improvement in the WHO European region. Kazakhstan

The WHO Regional Office for Europe and the Russian Federation promoted the assessment of school health services in 9 countries of its Region (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Republic of Moldova, Russian Federation, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan), in the frame of the WHO-Russian Federation initiative on improving school health services in the eastern European and central Asian countries.

This report presents findings of the country assessment in Kazakhstan identifying major strengths of school health services in the country and areas for improvement in accordance to the standards of the European Framework for school health services.
