Ebola Virus Disease in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (Equateur) IHR Emergency Committee
The IHR Emergency Committee for Ebola Virus Disease in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (Equateur) met on one occasion in May 2018. Based on the advice of the Committee, the reports made by the affected States Parties, and the available information, the WHO Director-General accepted the Committee’s assessment and on 18 May 2018 did not declare the event a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC) but provided advice to States.
