The "Health System Resilience Indicators: An Integrated Package for Measuring and Monitoring Health System Resilience in Countries" provides a comprehensive toolkit to evaluate and track health system resilience for both routine operations and during public health crises or disruptions. It is aligned with WHO efforts to strengthen health systems for universal health coverage (UHC) and health security, and provides health system stakeholders in Indonesia and across the world actionable guidance to improve health system resilience.

The package adopts a structured and integrated approach, aims to support national and subnational authorities to identify strengths and areas for improvement, and highlights the need for pro-active emergency preparedness and response initiatives. It is targeted primarily at national and subnational health authorities, service providers and technical organizations, and provides step-by-step guidance, recommended indicators and supplementary resources to facilitate the systematic assessment and enhancement of health systems.
