Guidelines for EGASP implementation

Overview

The increasing resistance of Neisseria gonorrhoeae, which poses risks for HIV transmission and maternal mortality, has prompted Indonesia to launch a new guideline to implement standardized protocols for sample collection and laboratory testing under the Enhanced Gonococcal Antimicrobial Surveillance Programme (EGASP), part of the Global Antimicrobial Resistance Surveillance System (GLASS). This effort is vital for tracking gonorrhea's antimicrobial patterns, informing treatment guidelines, and shaping public health strategies. These guidelines are available in Indonesian language.
