The WHO Global Neglected Tropical Diseases Programme is soliciting nominations of experts with requisite background and experience to join the Onchocerciasis Sub-group of the WHO Diagnostic Technical Advisory Group (DTAG) for Neglected Tropical Diseases.
Those interested should have demonstrated understanding and experience of onchocerciasis diagnosis, either field-based diagnosis, lab-based diagnosis, or both. Those with expertise in diagnostics generally are also welcome to apply.
In the event of a large number of applicants, preference will be given to those with background and experience in epidemiology and diagnosis of onchocerciasis and/or other NTDs. We hope to recruit three new members to join the existing Sub-group. More information can be found in the terms of reference for DTAG Sub-groups (please click link below).
