The World Health Organization (WHO), in collaboration with the Geneva Digital Health Hub (gdhub), the World Trade Organization (WTO), and the World Bank, welcomes feedback from the public on the "Cross-Border Telehealth Practice: Policy Considerations" report. The purpose of this public call is to gather insights and comments from public stakeholders on the preliminary version of the afore mentioned report. The comments thus generated will enhance the relevance and effectiveness of the report.

This report aims to address the evolving landscape of telehealth practices across international boundaries, emphasizing policy considerations to ensure effective, safe, and equitable telehealth services. As the global healthcare environment continues to adapt to technological advancements and increasing globalization, this report seeks to provide guidance for policymakers, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders involved in the implementation of cross-border telehealth services.

Guidance on providing comments

Participants are encouraged to submit comments via the online survey from 4 April 2024 to 25 April 2024. Following the conclusion of this feedback period, a WHO-guided panel, composed of representatives from various organizations, will review all feedback to inform the final version of the document.
